My Tagxedo

Cool Tagxedo
I was trying out the Tagxedo website that Rubi shared with us. My Tagxedo has to do with my blog.  Check out how many Web 2.0 words there are:)  I can think of so many ways to use this tool.  My class loves word clouds and Wordles, so I know this will be a hit.  I couldn't figure out how to embed the image into my blog though.  Any words of advise???  I'm hoping to use this site with my class this week, but would like to be able to share their work....PLEASE HELP!!!

  1. I have never heard of this!!! What a cool tool. My class also loves creating wordles and word clouds. Maybe we could use this in our digital storytelling project some how??? I would be interested in learning more about this program.... :-)

  2. Not sure how to embed an image, but you can always use printscreen, save the picture as a jpeg and upload to your blog....

  3. Yes, that is the way to do it. Use screen captures (screen shots) and jpegs to insert images. Use embed codes to insert video and similar multimedia. See you got the image into the blog. Tagxedo, as opposed to Wordle, has the capability to turn the word cloud into a shape, as you have done here. That concept will appeal to your 3rd graders, and it even fits in with teaching them about shapes.

  5. Thank you for sharing Tagxedo. A few weeks back I came across Wordle and loved that, so it's great to see even more ways to create word clouds.
